How should teachers correct speaking?

1.  The intermittent interruption from teacher do distract student’s attention.

2. Jot down things that seems to go well and times when student could not express themselves properly.

3. Write down grammar errors on whiteboard in case that students could have discussion about the mistakes they make and do correct.

Why the interruption from teacher should prevent?

1. The point will quickly be lost. Teacher will destroy the purpose of the speaking activity.

What else should teachers do during a speaking activity?

1.      Role-play

2.      Adequate interruption is required if the activity do not go smoothly

3.      Teachers are asked to correct students in a way sympathetically and sensitively
